High school student Marlowe Johnsen was published in the Laguna Beach Independent about her experience lobbying in D.C. with CCL.
The summer of 2026 was her third visit to Capitol Hill with CCL, and this time, she had more responsibility than ever as the lobbying lead for two meetings.
“I was both honored and nervous,” she writes. The meetings taught her an important lesson. “Being young is enough. Being passionate is enough. Now, I will not hesitate to act.”
