Background and community
CCLers like you
Everyone is welcome in CCL’s local chapters, but many volunteers also enjoy connecting in these virtual Action Teams with people in their own age group or who share a similar background or political affiliation.
People of the Global Majority
CCL’s PGM Action Team is a community where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color can gather, share stories, and support each other in the course of climate advocacy work.
Right of Center
CCL’s Right of Center Action Team is a community for conservative-minded advocates working toward practical, durable climate solutions.
Connect over common interests
These Action Teams bring together CCLers who share common interests, expertise, professions, or advocacy goals. Whether you’re passionate about clean energy, grassroots organizing, faith engagement, business leadership, or policy advocacy, there’s a team for you to turn your knowledge and enthusiasm into action.
We have many action teams, here are the most popular:
- Nerd Corner
- Meteorologist Outreach
- Outdoor Recreation
- Health
- Nuclear Energy
- Agriculture
- Braver Angels
- Writers’ Circle
Join CCL to connect with these teams.
