The power of group action
When citizens organize, train, and show up together — at lobby meetings, in local media, in their communities — they reshape what’s politically possible. This is how CCL volunteers have moved Congress on climate for nearly two decades.
Hear from our group leaders
CCL chapters are led by one or more group leaders who organize local meetings, events, and oversee chapter operations with guidance from CCL’s national staff. Here, they share why they love leading a CCL chapter.
I love working with our volunteers. They’re just an amazing bunch of people, and it’s incredible what we can accomplish together.
It’s the people. The new volunteers, the long-time members, and the amazing staff. We’re all pulling together on something really important, and that means a lot to me.
My favorite part of being a Group Leader is seeing random volunteers walk through the door, and grow into brilliant leaders in their own right.
